Palm Beach County is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but it is also home to some top rated schools.   We like to say, "We live where you vacation",  why not live here too?   Palm Beach County public schools are the most diverse in the state and have a graduation rate of 85%.  Our county is rated an "A" county by the state for the second year in a row.  We are one of only three large urban districts to win this distinction for the 2018-19 school year.   The students will have access to  countless opportunities, whether it is sports, academics, JROTC, internships, dual degree programs, industry certifications and so much more!   The county requires that every student complete volunteer hours to give back to the community.  Students  can choose to clean our beaches,  volunteer at local animal shelters,  work with senior citizens, or help with younger children with disabilities.  Their field trips are to the local science museum, zoo, water parks, Miami, even Disney or Universal!  What kid wouldn't like that for a class trip!!  I haven't even mentioned the many charter or private schools yet.  We have Somerset Academy,  Franklin Academy, Oxbridge Academy, American Heritage, St. Paul's, The Benjamin School,  St .Andrews,  The King's Academy and so many more.   The county produces state champions in every category and provides an outlet to any student's pursuit.   Your child has the choice to find their right fit since Palm Beach County has the perfect school for every kid.

An anonymous student said this about their experience in Palm Beach County:

"I have attended PBC from the ages of 6 to 17 PBC is a great place for children/students to get the education that they need to succeed in adulthood. High school to middle schools offer many programs to prepare students! PBC schools offer programs in mechanical engineering, culinary arts, medical, criminal justuce, cosmetology, JORTC, early childhood education and more. What's better than schools that prepare your child to enter the work force before or after highschool [some even offer internships]! Being a student of PBC enabled me to particpate in dual programs in high School all 4 years which gave me multiple certifications, and a great job opportunity and multiple scholarships. The competitiveness of my PBC shcool also prepared me well for the high academic standards of college."

When you think about moving to Florida to escape the winter cold or the high taxes of your home state, consider the school district as much as the weather and local beaches.  Palm Beach County is truly about living and learning in paradise!
